www.facialhairremover.co.uk Facial hair threading (also known as khite) is an ancient form of hair removal from the Eastern world that uses a cotton thread to pull hairs out from the root. It is quickly gaining popularity in the western world with celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez recently being reported in popular women’s magazines as having weekly scheduled threading appointments. The new facial hair removing threader “Epicare” has been developed to work without having to be an expert in the technique. Anyone can use the Epicare threader to remove facial hair quickly and easily without having to go through the pain or expense of waxing, shaving or using depilatory creams. Just like traditional hair threading, the twisting action of the spring traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle. Like with tweezing, the results can last up to two to four weeks. With regular treatments, hair re-growth becomes finer and sparser. Threading is a fast, effective method for removing unwanted hair, particularly popular for removing fine facial hair. It freakin hurst…but it got the job done….i regret forgeting to moisturise my face after cos now i’m noticing some skin irritation (spots…not pimples yet) and i don’t know how to get rid of them before they get big or worse or before they start to get dark :/… I’m gonna start using that lemon and sugar exfoliating method and see if that helps O_o

I have the Epicare (purchased it last year) and it hurts! I wasn’t too happy with it.

  12. TheFunFerret says:

@xinspiration Im just saying what she said: “The company says to replace it every six months”

  13. xinspiration says:

Do I have to buy another one? Mine is so stretchy in the middle now so I try to use the sides. No other way to fix it? ):

  14. orientish says:

i have epicare, and its not so bad. it does cut some hair off too….. so the next day you can feel some hair back there, but its a fast way of “tweezing”

  15. MsYummypopcorn says:

I wouldn’t reccommend shaving your face with that thing.. although it looks different it is basically a razor and would probably make your facial hair more like your leg hair. Just my point of view.
The epistick looks good though and simple, will be sure to try and repost – thanks.x

  24. fargol1992 says:

I have one and it’s from Iran.

  25. zehrameer says:

hair taken out from metal material will always be thicker..not faster because its taken out from the roots e.g a tweezer, but its always thicker!

  26. 101feven101 says:

does it hurt? how does it feel? and where are they sold?

  27. MaryMathews says:

@Teaser7 hiya, i work in a laser and electrolysis clinic, you should have 4 X IPL treatments (each 2 weeks apart – despite what any clinic tells you this method works the best as it catches a lot of growths) if they are think and brown, and then you will have to finish with electrolysis, unfortunately IPL won’t kill hormonal hair alone.

  28. MaryMathews says:

that’s is terrible!! i work in a skin clinic, facial hair isn’t terminal like your legs (which will get better). if you are removing hormonal hair on the face it will only get worse! electrolysis is permanent!

  29. JennylovesMJ says:

@Irreplaceable97 On or in your nose!?

  30. JennylovesMJ says:

@Teaser7 If your female and have lots of facial and body hair, i think you’d better see the doctor. (I’m being serious). Theres something called “Hirsutism”, and it may be an underlying issue in the hormone glands.

  31. Teaser7 says:

I have a lot of facial hair, and as a female its very embarassing!!! I use Veet cream but my hair grows so fast that I have to use every other day.. any suggestions anyone ??

  32. 1987Challenger3 says:

i have no problem with women being feminists..so long as they do it in the kitchen :D

  33. princessin22 says:

    @marachan16 try amazon

  34. birdsshouldfly says:

    Ouch!

  35. ragigyp says:

I have this. It does not hurt especially if you have done it more than once. Unfortunately the epicare cannot get all the hairs out. It gets out a lot of hairs but not all of them and the spring wears out very quickly.

  36. jenjen4218 says:

This works. I’ve tried it. But the spring wears pretty fast.

  37. Irreplaceable97 says:

LOL It’s funny, i get really long hairs on my nose , i always cut it but grows back pretty quick i could call myself a cat

  38. TequilaSunriseHLO says:

@AvihooI actually there is such thing as premature skin aging, i went to high school with a woman who tanned all the time, by sophmore year of h.s she had crows feet and other wrinkles =

  39. marachan16 says:

Those things are from my birthland XD
I have one to I bought it when I went on holiday in my birthland but it’s broken and I don’t know where to buy it :(
where did you get it from??

  40. LahDeeh says:

    @zulukline :D

  41. zulukline says:

i stay away from things that say epi, because it stems from EPILATOR, which means “hurts like a mofo”

  42. idkyoo says:

@AvihooI iono how you got your answer but waxing certainly does affect the face by pulling its natural elasticity and cause it to stretch and have premature wrinkles.

  43. asddance says:

    @BeautyBargains not true

  44. juicyXD says:

@diehardcutie I LOVE mine! After washing my face, I sit in front of the TV and go at it for about 20 minutes. Then, I do a scrub. I don’t put anything on afterward, and I do it at night. Yes, it is painful at first….but beats waxing. Doesn’t rip off skin!

  45. diehardcutie says:

lol this is a joke.. who in their right mind would waste money on this worthless product?

ill stick with waxing and laser hair removal. that way i know im not throwing my money away

  46. KalistaCopes says:

@mimoyassine I dont really know nething about it, i suppose i should look into it

  47. mimoyassine says:

From my experience, I noticed it works best on underarms. You can do your underarms in just 10 minutes and get great results quickly.

  48. KalistaCopes says:

@mimoyassine what was tria laser hair removal like under your arms? I hate shaving my armpits! But if I dont I feel discusting and sweaty and I feel like I smell more.

  49. Chrystal80 says:

How on earth is waxing going to remove layers of fat? To do that, it would first have to remove the epidermis and then the dermis (upper and lower layer of skin), which of curse would leave you with some pretty damn bad scars! LOL. My God, if waxing could some how remove layers of fat (it CANNOT) I would NEVER use it because it would of course seriously damage your skin!

    does it hurt?
