It freakin hurst…but it got the job done….i regret forgeting to moisturise my face after cos now i’m noticing some skin irritation (spots…not pimples yet) and i don’t know how to get rid of them before they get big or worse or before they start to get dark :/… I’m gonna start using that lemon and sugar exfoliating method and see if that helps O_o

i have epicare, and its not so bad. it does cut some hair off too….. so the next day you can feel some hair back there, but its a fast way of “tweezing”
I wouldn’t reccommend shaving your face with that thing.. although it looks different it is basically a razor and would probably make your facial hair more like your leg hair. Just my point of view.

hair taken out from metal material will always be thicker..not faster because its taken out from the roots e.g a tweezer,but its always thicker!

@Teaser7 hiya, i work in a laser and electrolysis clinic, you should have 4 X IPL treatments (each 2 weeks apart – despite what any clinic tells you this method works the best as it catches a lot of growths) if they are think and brown, and then you will have to finish with electrolysis, unfortunately IPL won’t kill hormonal hair alone.
that’s is terrible!! i work in a skin clinic, facial hair isn’t terminal like your legs (which will get better). if you are removing hormonal hair on the face it will only get worse! electrolysis is permanent!

@Teaser7 If your female and have lots of facial and body hair, i think you’d better see the doctor. (I’m being serious). Theres something called “Hirsutism”, and it may be an underlying issue in the hormone glands.

I have this. It does not hurt especially if you have done it more than once. Unfortunately the epicare cannot get all the hairs out. It gets out a lot of hairs but not all of them and the spring wears out very quickly.
This works. I’ve tried it. But the spring wears pretty fast.

@AvihooI iono how you got your answer but waxing certainly does affect the face by pulling its natural elasticity and cause it to stretch and have premature wrinkles.

@diehardcutie I LOVE mine! After washing my face, I sit in front of the TV and go at it for about 20 minutes. Then, I do a scrub. I don’t put anything on afterward, and I do it at night. Yes, it is painful at first….but beats waxing. Doesn’t rip off skin!

From my experience, I noticed it works best on underarms. You can do your underarms in just 10 minutes and get great results quickly.
@mimoyassine what was tria laser hair removal like under your arms? I hate shaving my armpits! But if I dont I feel discusting and sweaty and I feel like I smell more.
How on earth is waxing going to remove layers of fat? To do that, it would first have to remove the epidermis and then the dermis (upper and lower layer of skin), which of curse would leave you with some pretty damn bad scars! LOL. My God, if waxing could some how remove layers of fat (it CANNOT) I would NEVER use it because it would of course seriously damage your skin!
